MOYA is a Japanese artist who was born in 1982 in Okayama Prefecture and is currently based in the Kansai region of Japan. He specializes in creating expressions with the theme of “street art x Japanese style”. Since 2009, MOYA has been performing live painting at various events such as SUMMER SONIC and METROCK music festivals. He is also actively involved in creating murals both domestically and internationally. Additionally, he is a member of a painting group known as “KAOMANGAI”.

MOYA's exhibited artworks are centered around creatures from Japanese legends and myths, including the “Longmen (The Dragon Gate)” which represents the idea of achieving success through hard work, the “Komainu” guardian dogs of Shinto shrines, the guiding god “Yatagarasu”, and various other creatures such as demons. MOYA combines the main theme with stories and associated elements in a collage-like manner to create his paintings.

One of MOYA's unique techniques is his ability to express the relationship between the physical presence and portraits by creating three-dimensional artworks. MOYA's artwork not only reflects his passion for street art and Japanese culture, but it also showcases his creativity and ability to blend different styles and techniques to create stunning pieces.
